πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Miramar is an exposed beach break in North Portugal that offers pretty consistent surf, though it is often flat during summer. The most favorable conditions are a West swell (from windswells or groundswells) combined with offshore winds from the East. The break works best around mid tide, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The spot is sometimes crowded, and surfers should be aware of rocks. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
