Melides is an exposed beach break in Portugal - Alentejo that has inconsistent surf with no set seasonal pattern, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West swell from a mix of groundswells and windswells combined with offshore winds from the East-Southeast. The break provides good surf at all stages of the tide and is an uncrowded break, even when it is working.
