The most favorable conditions are a South swell from a mix of groundswells and windswells combined with offshore winds from the Northwest. The break works best around mid tide when the tide is falling. The spot is unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in May.
