Figueiros is an exposed beach break in The Algarve that offers very reliable surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West swell from local windswells or distant groundswells combined with offshore winds from the Southeast. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Surfers should be aware of rips/undertow and rocks. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in October.
