Fajã do Belo on Ilha de São Miguel in the Azores is an exposed reef and point break that offers rideable waves when swell is present, typically working best with north and northwest swells and offshore winds from the south or southeast. The bottom is primarily rocky reef, which helps shape defined peaks but also presents rock hazards that surfers should watch for. The break works across most tide levels and remains relatively uncrowded even on good days. The best month to surf Fajã do Belo is January.
