πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Beliche is a sheltered beach and point break in South Portugal that offers pretty consistent surf, with Winter being the optimum time of year for surfing, featuring a left-hand point break. The most favorable conditions are a Northwest swell from windswells or groundswells combined with offshore winds from the North. The break works best around mid tide. When the surf is up, crowds are likely, and surfers should be aware of strong rips. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in February.
