πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Azurara is an exposed beach break in North Porto that offers quite consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West swell (from windswells or groundswells) combined with offshore winds from the East. The break is surfable at all stages of the tide. The spot very rarely gets crowded. Surfers should be aware of rips, rocks, and pollution. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
