Agucadoura is an exposed beach break in North Portugal that offers fairly consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West swell (from both windswells and groundswells) combined with offshore winds from the East. The break provides good surf at all stages of the tide. The spot is generally uncrowded, even on good days. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
