St Brevin l'Ermitage in Loire Atlantique is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the west southwest. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of - Man-made danger (buoys etc.).
