πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Gold Beach South Jetty in South Oregon is an exposed beach and reef break with fairly consistent surf that works year-round. It performs best with offshore winds from the east and a west swell, receiving both windswells and groundswells. The wave offers both lefts and rights and is rideable at all tides. It’s often crowded, and hazards include rips, rocks, and sharks. Clean, rideable waves are most consistent during winter, especially in January.
