๐Ÿ“ Local Knowledge

Gleneden Beach in North Oregon is an exposed beach break with fairly consistent surf year-round, working well on both groundswells and windswells. The ideal swell direction is from the west, combined with offshore winds from the east. The beach offers both left- and right-breaking waves and is a fairly popular spot that can get crowded at times. Best conditions occur during winterโ€”especially in Januaryโ€”when clean, rideable waves are most frequent. Surfers should be cautious of rip currents and occasional shark activity.
