Canet Plage in Languedoc-Roussillon is an exposed beach break that frequently remains flat during the summer months. It performs best with an east swell and offshore winds from the west, though the spot also benefits from some shelter against northerly winds. Due to the limited fetch, waves are primarily local windswells rather than groundswells, producing both left and right-handers that are surfable at all stages of the tide. This spot very rarely gets crowded, offering a quiet session, though surfers should remain vigilant and share the water safely with windsurfers who frequent the area.
