Gerpuk Bay in South Lombok is a fairly exposed reef break that works year-round, with January offering the most consistent clean waves. It performs best with west-northwest offshore winds and south-southwest groundswells, breaking both left and right. The wave works best around mid-tide on a rising tide. This is a popular and often crowded spot, and surfers should watch out for sea urchins.
