Les Estagnots in Aquitaine is an exposed beach break that offers consistent surf and remains functional throughout the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves primarily fueled by groundswells; while it offers good surf at all stages of the tide, it is a highly popular location where crowds are likely when the conditions are on. In fact, overcrowding can sometimes reach levels that make surfing hazardous, so caution in the lineup is advised. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
