Les Cavaliers in La Côte Basque is an exposed beach break that offers very consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it offers some shelter from southwest winds and is known for its high-quality, powerful peaks, it is a very popular wave that can become heavily crowded. Visitors should take special care in the water when the lineup is packed. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
