This spot is fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it provides a more protected environment, it is likely to be crowded when the surf is up and presents several hazards, including rocks, man-made obstacles like buoys, potential pollution, and localism. The best conditions occur when a West-northwest swell combines with South-southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
