Located on a wilder stretch of the Gironde coast, this spot produces both left and right-hand waves fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells. It performs best around high tide and is a fantastic option for surfers looking to avoid the crowds, as the lineup rarely gets packed. However, visitors must remain extremely cautious of dangerous rip currents, which are a significant hazard here. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
