A versatile choice for those monitoring the clock, it often holds good surf at all stages of the tide; however, its proximity to the Cap Ferret tourist hubs means it can sometimes become crowded. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East-southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for finding consistent, clean waves.
