Le Truc Vert in Aquitaine is an exposed beach and jetty break that offers quite consistent surf throughout the year. Located on the Cap Ferret peninsula, this spot produces both left and right-hand waves fueled by an equal measure of local windswells and distant groundswells. A significant draw for this location is its versatility, providing good surf at all stages of the tide, and it remains a relatively quiet option that is unlikely to be overcrowded even when the conditions are prime. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East-southeast offshore winds, with October being the most reliable month for clean, consistent waves.
