This spot draws energy equally from local windswells and distant groundswells, performing at its peak with a Northwest swell. Because the wave depends on specific conditions to come to life, it is a great choice for those seeking solitude, as it very rarely gets crowded. However, surfers must stay sharp and watch for rocks, which are a significant hazard here. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southeast offshore winds. While October is a standout month, the Winter season generally offers the most consistent opportunities for clean sessions.
