This spot produces both left and right-hand waves fueled by an equal measure of windswells and groundswells; notably, it holds larger swells better than many of its neighbors and remains surfable at all stages of the tide. Despite its reputation for high-quality waves, it is rarely crowded, making it a favorite for those seeking a bit more space in the Hossegor lineup. The best conditions occur when a West-northwest swell combines with East-southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
