πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Hendaye Plage in La CΓ΄te Basque is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that offers fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand beach breaks along with a right-hand reef break, primarily fueled by groundswells; while it offers some shelter from west winds and the surf quality remains consistent regardless of the tide, visitors should be prepared for crowds and stay alert for submerged rocks. The best conditions occur when a West-northwest swell combines with South offshore winds, with November being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
