Capbreton - Le Santocha in Landes is a fairly exposed beach break that offers reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by an equal measure of windswells and groundswells; notably, it is unlikely to be crowded even when the waves are good. However, visitors should be mindful of potential localism in the lineup. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
