📍 Local Knowledge

VVF in Aquitaine is an exposed beach break that offers pretty consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by an equal measure of groundswells and windswells; while it is best surfed around low tide, it is a fairly popular wave that can sometimes get crowded. Due to the density of the lineup, wearing a helmet is often a good idea for safety. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
