This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it offers some shelter from southwest winds and is known for its high-quality, powerful peaks, it is a very popular wave that can become heavily crowded. Visitors should take special care in the water when the lineup is packed. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
