Anglet - La Piscine in La Côte Basque is an exposed beach break that offers quite consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by an equal measure of local windswells and distant groundswells; while the quality of the surf remains unaffected by the tide and offers some shelter from southwest winds, it is a location that can become dangerously crowded when working. Due to the high density of surfers, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for safety. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
