Anglet - La Petite Madrague in La Côte Basque is an exposed beach and jetty break that offers fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it offers some shelter from southwest winds and remains unaffected by the tide, it can become quite crowded when the surf is up. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
