Anglet - La Petite Barre in La Côte Basque is a very sheltered beach and jetty break that, due to its protected nature, tends to be flat during the summer months. This spot receives a mix of groundswells and windswells and, while it can sometimes become crowded, it offers a more shielded alternative to the exposed peaks further south. Visitors should be particularly mindful of environmental and physical hazards, including water pollution, strong currents, and submerged rocks. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds.
