πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Anglet - Madrague in La CΓ΄te Basque is an exposed beach and jetty break that offers pretty consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves primarily fueled by groundswells; while it offers some shelter from southwest winds and remains surfable at all stages of the tide, it can get quite busy in the water when the conditions are on. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
