📍 Local Knowledge

Jennette's Pier in North Carolina is an exposed beach and jetty break with consistent surf that can work year-round. It performs best when a northeast swell meets offshore winds from the west, generating a mix of left and right-hand waves. Most of the surf here is powered by groundswells, and the break holds up well at all stages of the tide. While it can get crowded during prime conditions, it's a dependable spot for surfers of all levels. Strong rip currents are a notable hazard, so caution is advised. The best conditions for clean, rideable waves typically occur in winter, with December being the most favorable month.
