It performs best in fall, especially October, when hurricane-season groundswells and nor’easters generate consistent northeast and southeast swells, often cleaned up by offshore or cross-offshore winds from the west. Surf tends to be most manageable at low to mid tide, offering peaky lefts and rights that can range from fun waist-high sessions to powerful overhead sets depending on storm activity.
