Sciotot in Normandy is an exposed beach break that offers pretty consistent surf, though summer months tend to be mostly flat. It performs best with a west groundswell and offshore winds from the east. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach and is notably versatile, offering good surf at all stages of the tide. Because it is rarely crowded, it remains an excellent choice for a quiet session. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in April.
