Pourville in Normandy is an exposed beach break that offers inconsistent surf, with the best overall wave activity occurring during the autumn months. It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the south-southeast, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach, but when conditions are good, it can get quite busy in the water. Surfers should be mindful of several hazards, including rips, undertows, man-made dangers like buoys, and a degree of localism. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the winter, particularly in December.
