It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the east, receiving an equal mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach and is notably versatile, offering good surf at all stages of the tide. It is rarely crowded, making it a reliable choice for a quiet session. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in April.
