Trailer Park in Rhode Island is an exposed reef break offering fast, hollow, and powerful waves that are best suited for experienced surfersβprime conditions typically arrive in fall with long-period swells from hurricanes or strong low-pressure systems in the Atlantic. Offshore west to northwest winds groom east to southeast swells, creating steep takeoffs and deep barrel sections over a shallow reef. The spot works best on mid tide, which gives a bit more cushion over the rocks while preserving wave shape. Access is limited, with a discreet path leading to the break, keeping crowds minimal. Hazards include sharp reef, slippery rocks, and strong rips. The best surf is usually in September and October.
