πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Breezy Point is an exposed beach and jetty break that picks up a mix of groundswells and windswells, with optimal conditions on south to southeast swells and offshore winds from the northwest. It works across most tide stages, though mid tide often delivers the best shape, especially near the jetties where waves can break more cleanly. Autumn is the standout season, particularly during hurricane swell events in September and October, when long-period energy produces punchy peaks and occasional long rides. The area’s remoteness and limited access keep crowds light, but hazards include strong rip currents, submerged rocks, and restricted access zones due to park regulations.
