POOR
Poor conditions right now. Tiny waves under 1ft with quality 9s ground swell but strong 18kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from NW would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

📍 Local Knowledge

Atlantic Terrace in Long Island, NY, is an exposed beach and reef break with fairly consistent surf year-round. It works best with offshore winds from the northwest and receives a mix of windswells and groundswells, with the ideal swell direction from the southeast. The break features both left and right-breaking reefs, and the best conditions occur when a southeast swell aligns with northwest winds. Winter, especially March, provides the most consistent clean waves. When the surf is up, crowds are likely, and surfers should be cautious of rocks.
