📍 Local Knowledge

Stone Harbor 110th Street in New Jersey is an exposed breakwater break that offers fairly consistent surf, with the best conditions typically found during the summer. It works optimally when southeast swells pair with offshore winds from the northwest, responding well to both groundswells and windswells. The wave quality here is reliable, though crowds can gather when the surf is good. Surfers should be cautious of hazards such as submerged rocks and occasional localism. While it can work throughout the year, the most favorable conditions for clean, rideable waves occur in summer, with November also standing out as a month that can deliver excellent surf.
