📍 Local Knowledge

Manasquan Inlet, NJ, is an exposed beach and jetty break that works year-round, with the best conditions occurring when a south-southeast swell meets offshore west winds. Waves come from both local windswells and distant groundswells, with mid-tide on the rise being ideal. The spot offers both lefts and rights but is often crowded. Hazards include rips, rocks, buoys, and localism. Summer, particularly July, sees the most consistent clean waves with light or offshore winds.
