📍 Local Knowledge

Lavallette, New Jersey, is an exposed beach and jetty break with reliable surf year-round. It works best with offshore winds from the west to west-northwest and receives most of its swell from the east, particularly groundswells. Waves break both left and right, and the best conditions occur with a southeast swell and west-northwest winds. Summer, especially July, offers the most consistent clean waves. The spot can get crowded, and surfers should be cautious of rips and rocks.
