📍 Local Knowledge

Brick Beach, NJ, is an exposed beach break with offshore winds from the west-northwest. It receives both local windswells and distant groundswells, with the best swell direction from the southeast. Optimal conditions occur around mid-tide on a rising tide. The beach is rarely crowded but has strong rips and private access restrictions. The most consistent clean waves with light offshore winds are typically found in the summer, especially in July.
