Poor conditions right now. Tiny waves under 1ft with quality 12s ground swell but strong 16kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from NNE would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Squibnocket Beach on Martha’s Vineyard is a semi-exposed break known for its power and consistency during the fall hurricane season and winter nor’easters, with September through November offering the most reliable clean waves. It performs best on south to southwest swells with offshore winds from the north to northeast, and mid tide on a rising tide typically produces the best conditions. The waves can be punchy and fast, often favoring shortboarders, though there are occasional softer shoulders for longboarding on smaller days. Crowds are usually light due to its more rugged location, but strong currents and heavy shorebreak can be a challenge for less experienced surfers.
