📍 Local Knowledge

Pine Point Beach in Maine is an exposed beach break with reasonably consistent surf throughout the year. Offshore winds from the northwest provide the best conditions, with waves generated by a mix of groundswells and windswells. The ideal swell direction is from the southeast, producing mainly left-handers. Surf is best around low tide and the spot is rarely crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rips, rocks, and pollution. The most consistent clean waves are typically found in autumn, especially in November.
