📍 Local Knowledge

Miramar is an exposed beach break known for delivering dependable surf conditions. It performs best with offshore winds from the east to northeast and rides strong groundswells coming from the south to southwest. The best conditions emerge when a long-period southwest swell aligns with light offshore winds. The break offers both left and right-hand waves and tends to see moderate crowds when the surf is good. Surfers should be mindful of rips, shifting sandbars, and occasional shorebreak hazards. The ideal season for consistent, clean waves is during the Pacific swell months, especially from May through September.
