📍 Local Knowledge

Greve de Lecq in Jersey is an exposed beach break that works infrequently, with winter being the optimal season for surf. It performs best with a northwest swell and offshore winds from the south, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach and is best surfed around low tide; however, surfers should be cautious of rocks that become a hazard at lower water levels. When conditions are working, the lineup can get quite busy. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the winter, particularly in February.
