📍 Local Knowledge

T-Bones in Molokai is an exposed reef break with reasonably consistent surf, especially during the winter months. It performs best when an east swell pairs with offshore winds from the south-southwest, creating clean, rideable right-handers. The wave is powered by reliable groundswells and handles a variety of tide conditions. Though not overly crowded, it can draw a lineup when conditions align. Hazards to be mindful of include submerged rocks and sharks. March is typically the prime month for scoring clean, consistent waves at T-Bones.
