Rockpiles in Oahu is an exposed reef break with reasonably consistent surf, best during Summer, especially in May. It performs best when a South-southeast swell combines with North offshore winds, receiving both wind and groundswells equally. The break offers both left and right reef breaks and good surf at all tide stages. It can sometimes be crowded. Hazards include urchins, rocks, obstacles, locals, and pollution.
