It works best when east swells align with offshore winds from the west-northwest, producing clean, rideable waves. While not the most popular spot, it offers a dependable option for those seeking less crowded lineups. The wave setup is suitable across various swell sizes, and hazards include strong rips, undertow, and exposed rocks. Although it fires most consistently in winter, July is often the best month for scoring clean surf here.
