📍 Local Knowledge

Nanakuli Tracks in Oahu is an exposed reef break with inconsistent surf and no strong seasonal reliability, though it can still offer quality waves when conditions align. It works best on southwest swells with offshore winds from the east-northeast, and it's surfable at all tide stages. Despite its potential, the spot is rarely crowded thanks to its tucked-away location. Hazards include urchins, rocks, localism, and sharks. While it's not a guaranteed surf destination year-round, the best chances for clean, rideable waves occur during summer, particularly in June.
