Poor conditions right now. Small 1.2ft waves with quality 10s ground swell but strong 18kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from SW would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

📍 Local Knowledge

Kalama in Oahu is a fairly exposed beach break that generally provides reliable surf year-round. It performs best when northeast groundswells combine with offshore winds from the southwest. The beach breaks offer both left and right waves and maintain good surf quality across all tide stages. The spot can sometimes get crowded, and surfers should be cautious of sharks. The prime surfing season is during winter, especially in March.
